John Mayer was born October 16, 1977 is an American musician. Raised in Connecticut,  he attended Berklee College of Music in Boston. ALEX – First hurricane of the Season!

The National Hurricane Center in Miami upgraded ALEX to a Category 1 hurricane – the least powerful type – shortly before 10:00 pm CDT Tuesday. Alex is projected to stay hundreds of miles from the area of the BP spill zone, but the storm could cause complications on both the cleanup and the effots to cap the flow. 3 rigs, 28 platforms evacuated because of Hurricane Alex. Spirit Airlines makes deal with pilots. Will fly again!!

Posted June 16 – Palm Beach Post On Wednesday, Spirit Airlines made a deal with its pilots that will end their strike. They said they would fly again starting on Friday 6/18. Everything prior to that has been cancelled. Spirit carries roughly 16,000 passengers per day, or about one percent of the nation’s air traffic. Its hub is in Ft. Lauderdale, with flights to US cities including Detroit and Atlantic City, NJ, as well as the Caribbean and Latin America.
